Mizizi Boys Mentorship is a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Coventry, UK, dedicated to empowering young boys to thrive through mentorship, skill development, and community engagement.
Founded in October 2021 by Gad Turuthi, Mizizi Boys addresses challenges such as digital exclusion, financial illiteracy, and crime prevention. Rooted in the meaning of its name—Mizizi, Swahili for “roots”—the organization seeks to build a strong foundation of character, resilience, and leadership in boys. Through innovative programs and partnerships, Mizizi Boys Mentorship is committed to creating a generation of young leaders equipped to impact their communities positively.

Gad Turuthi is the visionary behind Mizizi Boys Mentorship. A community leader, youth minister, motivational speaker, and author, Gad has a deep passion for mentorship and positive transformation.
He is the founder of initiatives such as the Blades Down, Voices Up project and Elite Retreats, and he works tirelessly to address challenges faced by boys in the community.
